Nice quiz, my poor score reflects my ‘Low Church’ background.
Used as a teacher led plenary, from the front of the classroom, a Mystudiyo quiz can be a little too didactic, though use of mini-white boards or team competition etc. could make it more engaging. An ideal setting for these quizzes is a computer suite.
I recently made one for a science lesson in which my Year 7 students were using Excel and Word to analyse and evaluate an investigation. Since each student had a computer and access to the internet they could work through the quiz at their own pace. I thought of asking the faster workers to create their own quiz on the subject, it is very easy to register. Unfortunately I didn’ get to pilot this, since my second hour in the booked computer room was taken off me at the last minute. Such is school life! Didn’t matter, we did some animation instead.
Glad to hear you had a go! The photos are from my own church. Sounds like a good idea to have the pupils in a computer room – but I recognise the difficulties with getting a room! I’ll be interested to see if it’s any easier this year …
