I replied to your comments on my blog, but thought I'd copy a bit here too...

As for the Google Earth footsteps of Jesus idea... check out Geography of Passion Week and Passion Week in Google Earth. A search for "Google Earth" on the ESV blog throws up a few more ideas and the OpenBible is just stuffed full of stuff! Hope these prove useful.

David, thanks for your comments. I am also wondering how I could use Google Maps with my students ... would it be possible to set up a "walking in the footsteps of Jesus" task for my Year 9s? I wonder where to start ... Any ideas? Anyone?

Thanks for sharing information about the Penguin site. It's a brilliant idea and good on Penguin for doing it.

I especially liked the use of Google Maps in 21 Steps and wonder if that's something I could try with students... Google Map fiction... Hmm!
